City of Philadelphia Pays $250,000 for Injuries Caused by Police Officer
JENKINTOWN PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEYS
A Philadelphia Police Officer made a left turn the wrong direction down a one-way street and struck our clients head-on. The occupants of the vehicle all sustained injuries. The Police Officer claimed his lights and sirens were on and that he was in pursuit of a burglary in progress when he executed his turn. The clients disputed seeing lights or hearing sirens. Witnesses were called in to testify which called into question the Police Officer’s credibility. Prior to trial, the City of Philadelphia agreed to settle the case for $250,000.
